MNEMIC: 'We Just Can't Wait To Get Our Asses Out On The Road'

September 26, 2005

Danish modern metallers MNEMIC are currently gearing up for the Fury of The Fall North American tour, also featuring MESHUGGAH, THE HAUNTED and GOD FORBID. The trek, which is scheduled to kick off October 1 in Pinellas Park, Florida, will be the group's first with new singer Tony Jelencovich (formerly of TRANSPORT LEAGUE and B-THONG),who replaced Michael Bøgballe earlier in the month.

Commented the band: "Rehearsals with Tony went smooth, and the set will be a good blend of songs from the two previous albums — no new songs, unfortunately, 'cause it's too early for that. We just can't wait to get our asses out on the road, touring with these fantastic bands. We will fly out tomorrow straight to N.Y. to start a well-crafted metal riot. This North American tour will represent the final concerts of the 'The Audio Injected Soul' touring cycle. After this run, we'll start demoing the songs we have worked on untill now, and go in the studio in February with Peter Tägtgren [HYPOCRISY, PAIN] to record our third album, yet untitled."

MNEMIC's sophomore album, "The Audio Injected Soul", was released in September 2004 via Nuclear Blast Records. The follow-up to 2003's "Mechanical Spin Phenomena" was recorded at AntFarm Studios in Aarhus, Denmark with producer Tue Madsen.
